Jen & Ruse

Sunday afternoon, Ginger and I photographed Jen & Ruse's wedding at Tanganyika Wildlife Park in Goddard. Talk about a cool place for a wedding. Jen and I were best friends in 6th grade before she started going to a different school. I hung out with her a couple times at K-State, but hadn't seen her family since I was like 12. It was neat to see some familiar faces again. Ruse is such an awesome guy...I'm so happy for them! He's always got a smile on his face and was so easy-going. Jen's dress was beautiful, and the details were awesome and mostly animal themed - she had zebra print shoes for the reception as well as zebra candles and cupcakes! At the reception, we had some animals come in for a visit, and the guests got to get an up close view. We plan on going out for even more photos in their wedding clothes after they get back from Greece. Can't wait!

Notice the case of Rockstar next to the flowers in the fridge? :)

Jen had red margarita spilled on her dress at the reception. She handled it like a champ, and had it scrubbed with Sprite in the back room - which got most of it out!

Jen and her cousin, Kristin, who was my roommate for a year and a half at K-State.
