Stacy + Chris...Newlyweds!

Do they look a little familiar? They should! Stacy and Chris's wedding was a little over a month ago. We weren't able to do an engagement session before the wedding, so we did a newlyweds session this weekend instead. These two were great sports, as it was VERY windy on Sunday. Luckily, we found a few secluded spots that were enclosed and away from the wind. AND I found out that these two have a furry little baby named Tucker. We talked about our dogs a lot after that. You people need to just tell me to stop if you're getting sick of my constant dog stories. :) By 'you people' I mean everyone, in general. Just saying. Now that I'm rambling...on to the photos.

Holiday Deadline

Just wanted to let you know that the deadline for getting your album before Christmas has come and gone. If you've already gotten me your list of favorites, I will most likely have your album to you before Christmas, but if you haven't gotten me your list, then you'll have to wait until next year. Which isn't that long! So don't cry. Thanks, bye.

Jeanette & Daniel

Saturday afternoon was a gorgeous day for photos! Jeanette and Daniel met me at the studio for their engagement session, and then we headed around downtown and to Great Plains. I loved that they were energetic and up for whatever! Jeanette just wanted good photos and as a farm girl, she wasn't afraid to get a little dirty. Thanks for a great afternoon, you two. Looking forward to your wedding in May!

Things Lindsey Says...

Second verse:

"Your mom says to my mom, I'm going to catch your dog on fire.
Talking bout HEY DOG hey dog HEY DOG hey dog
What's wrong with your dog?
He's on FIRE."

Things Lindsey Says...

Singing, to some unknown tune:

"Your mom and my mom, sitting by the fire."

Princess Party!

Tuesday morning, my sister-in-law Jessica threw a Princess Party for her two girls. Their birthdays are like two weeks apart, so they had a joint party. The party involved LOTS of pink, cupcakes, candy, a moonwalk, and like 10 little princesses (and Spiderman...). I stopped by to wish the girls happy birthday and to take a few photos of the festivities. Happy Birthday Aubrynn and Breegan! You make the cutest princesses ever!

Nicole + Cole

Last night I photographed Nicole and Cole's engagements. What a beautiful and fun couple! They endured my endless dog stories and my search for the orange tree that we never found. :) Nicole's a model, so she knew how to work the camera, and I was loving that. And poor Cole, he did a great job putting up with me and my craziness. It was a really fun night and we got some great photos. Thanks guys! Can't wait for your wedding in June!

Shelite Family

Look at Reid! He's getting so big...he's even walking now. Crazy how fast time goes. These are my good friends Audra and Justin and their son. We had a quickie session last night at the park and got some really fun stuff with this cute family. Reid just gets cuter and cuter every time I see him. He's gonna be a heartbreaker. He kept trying to give me leaves...he was much more interested in them than in looking at my camera. It's all good, we still tricked him into it.

Connor

Meet Connor. Connor is one of the most laid back seniors I've ever worked with. He and his mom Allison were just enjoying the ride while I got us lost in Riverside. They didn't care, it was great! And we ended up find this amazing orange tree that gave us some really cool vintage looking photos, like the one below of him gazing out across the river. So fun. I took Connor's sister's photos a couple years ago, and they remind me of me and my brother because she was blonde and he had red hair. Weird. And thanks Connor, for putting up with me and your mom making fun of you to get you to smile. :) Here are a few of the faves.

Things Lindsey Says...

Lindsey had a little talk with me today about how we need to stop encouraging each other's bad eating habits. She gave me a few examples of what I need to say to her when she wants bad food. Keep in mind, this was all her talking, I didn't say one word.

"Lindsey: Hey Gina, I want a snack.
Gina: Well, have some water.
Lindsey: Hey Gina, I forgot my lunch.
Gina: Well, eat your spit."
