More From...Anna & Ian - 12.31.07

Thanks to Anna for requesting More From their winter wedding! This is going back quite a ways. Clear back to my very first year of being a wedding photographer on my own. Anna and Ian were married on New Year's Eve in 2007 and still hold the title of being one of my favorite couples to work with. They're both so nice...and so in love! We took their engagements in the fall on the K-State campus, and then I went back up to Manhattan for their wedding in December. It was an awesome time shooting up there!

I included a few that were on my original blog post, but since I used a completely different blog at that time, I figured no one would mind. :)

Christina & Blake's Storybook Album

We got another fabulous album in this week...I'm just loving how these albums are turning out. And the leather smell when you open the box, it's intoxicating. :) This is an 11x14 album with Pearl leather and a metal cameo (photo) on the cover. It's the largest of our regular sizes, and let me tell you, it's BIG. Which makes the photos that much more stunning. The writing on the spine is a different font than the last one I showed you, so I wanted to be sure to point out that as well. Commence drooling, once again.







PS - Brides who've recently gotten albums that I didn't feature on the blog - DON'T BE SAD! I'm kicking myself for not taking photos of your albums for the blog. I didn't think of it til I was wracking my brain for things to blog! I've loved all of your albums too, I promise. Apparently, I just have brides with awesome taste. :)

ROOTS {February 2010}

A big THANK YOU to all the ladies who came to our ROOTS Workshop yesterday! Kathy, Leah, Jodi, Susan, Cherie, Cari, Michelle, Sarah, and Kassie - we had a blast meeting you all and hope you learned a lot about manual camera settings and composition! The photos y'all showed during our critique were awesome.

Another thanks to Erin for braving the cold and being our lovely model for the afternoon. Good thing she had that fur coat. Here are a few photos taken during our workshop yesterday.

A Storybook Album

Check out this amazingly beautiful album I got in the mail yesterday! This is Aunya & Brandon's wedding album and I just had to snap a few photos of it before I shipped it off to them. Aunya did a great job with her photo and leather cover choices. And the metal that the photo is printed on just makes it pop! Please, feel free to drool with me. :)

Holly & Ty - Engagements

Oh Holly and Ty...you should be professional models. This gorgeous showed up in awesome outfits and were willing to trek through some mud (with Holly in heels!) all for the sake of good photos. We had a great session Saturday afternoon with awesome weather. And they're buying a house at the end of the month about two blocks away from mine...couldn't ask for better neighbors. Congrats Holly and Ty, it was a pleasure spending the afternoon hanging out with you, and I can't wait for your wedding in April!

Montana & Travis - Engagements

Montana and Travis are finally getting married! These two started dating in high school, and I was Montana's small group leader in our church's youth group her senior year. Then she helped me lead the small group when she graduated. Travis reminds me a lot of my hubby Adam, with his goofy personality. It definitely came in handy during their session....Travis kept Montana laughing so I got some REAL smiles. AND these two are getting married on my 5 year anniversary next summer! June 3 is a great wedding date. :) Here are my favorites from their session. Congrats guys, I can't wait for your wedding!
