Maternity Leave
Just wanted to give you all a heads up on my maternity leave so that you'll have plenty of time to get your album favorites and orders in, in time to get them before I leave. I'll remind you of this as it draws closer, but I will be out of the office on maternity leave:

We're going to start something new here to add a little spice to these slow winter months. Since I won't be doing much shooting and thus won't have many new pictures to show you, I'm going to go back and post photos from past weddings and sessions that haven't yet graced the blog.

Guestbook Cover
Hi everyone! To give you a little something to look at during these slow winter months, here's a guestbook cover I made for Tara and Chad's guestbook. It's shown as if the book were laying open.

ROOTS
That's right, it's time for another ROOTS (the original)! This will be our last one until the fall, so you'd better be quick and grab your spot.
This is a class for beginner photographers that will talk about how to use your camera, shoot in manual mode, tips for composition, and will include a mini photo shoot with a model. The details:

- - 10:00am to 3:00pm (lunch provided)

I was right.
If you missed ROOTS 2, you missed out on the biggest day of your life. : )We had a blast with the lovely ladies who came and spent the day with us. Stay tuned for the official announcement of ROOTS 1 later today!
We were too engrossed in our awesome workshop to take any photos, but I got one of our little classroom setup before everyone arrived. So cute!

News and Updates
So I just realized I hadn't posted on my blog for quite awhile. Unfortunately, I don't have any new photos to show you, but I have a few announcements:
-Our office hours have changed to Tuesday-Friday 12pm-5pm.
-ROOTS 2 is tomorrow, and we are so excited to impart our Photoshop wisdom! I was commenting to Lindsey that I wish there'd been a class like this when I was learning Photoshop. Y'all are missing out if you're not coming. :)
-If you hadn't heard, Lindsey is pregnant too! With both of us being pregnant, there is a large amount of ridiculousness going on, and we blame it on the hormones.
And...I lied. I'll post a photo. Lindsey likes to make me wallpapers for my computer for each week of my pregnancy. She finds a photo of the fruit that is the size of the baby that week, and makes me a cute little collage thingy. Here's this week's (I hope you get the movie reference...):

One More Day...
Hello everyone.
Well, I was supposed to be back in the studio to answer calls and emails, and to edit your photos and make your albums today.
It's gonna be one more day.
My poor hubby has the stomach flu and last night was less than restful for both of us. So I'm home today taking care of him and trying to get so extra sleep. I will hopefully be back in full swing tomorrow. Thanks for being patient!
