Thanks so much to all of you who came out to our Final Friday! I know it ended up being a little cold that day, but hopefully it was worth the trip for you. We had a great turnout and everyone had such great things to say about our studio. We couldn't have been happier with how it went!
So...did anyone happen to take any photos while you were here? Lindsey and I forgot to take any! What kind of photographers are we? We were both so involved with talking to people, it just slipped our minds. If you have any photos, please email them to me, and I may just post them on the blog! (So maybe I lied in the title and I'll do another post about it...).

Lisa & Fam
Last night I photographed Lisa's maternity session. You might remember some pictures of her family that I took back in December. Eli is going to be born in the next few weeks and little Tyler is so ready to meet his little brother! Funny story...right at the beginning of our session, my camera freaked out on me, so I ran back to the studio to get another one. Meanwhile, I had Lisa sitting in the middle of an alley, and since it's difficult for her to get up and down, she just hung out there until I got back. Thanks for being a trooper, Lisa!
Notice the little guy in the bottom right corner. We were trying to get pictures of just Mom and Dad, but Tyler was just not having it.
I love this one because Tyler's on his tiptoes!

2010 Weddings

Katelyn & Jared
Now for Katelyn and Jared's full post. I had so much fun on this shoot because we went to two completely new locations and Katelyn told me at the beginning that they trusted me, so I could do whatever. I love it when brides say that! The first two places we went were grungy, and run down, which is (in my opinion) the perfect setting for engagements. We got a lot of new and fun stuff and I think that you will be seeing a lot of their pictures on my website in the future. Thanks for a great afternoon Katelyn and Jared...I look forward to your wedding in July!

My Living Room
Lots of blogging today! I needed to post a bunch, I know you've all been deprived lately. As mentioned in the Teaser post a few days ago, I ordered several large prints for my living room. I framed all of my urban grunge scenes and put them on shelves because I love the look of that. I had our wedding prints mounted on plaque, which doesn't need frames. We hung those on another wall by themselves. Here are photos of the finished product.

Yesterday afternoon, I took Sarah's senior photos in the studio. Back in September we took some outside and she wanted another session indoors so she could show off her ballet moves. She brought along her boyfriend, Brandon, so we had to get him in a few also. And we experimented with some different and artistic lighting, so that was pretty SWEET. Sarah, thanks so much for bearing with me as I'm still getting used to the whole studio photography thing. I think we got some great images for you!
