Adventures in the Studio

Yesterday I had my second studio shoot. It went pretty good, I'll blog about it next. About halfway through the shoot, I enlisted Lindsey to come help me with some lighting stuff, and in the process, got some really incriminating shots of her. And so I present to you, Lindsey Penney.

I ordered a bunch of pictures for my living room a couple weeks ago, and I finally got the prints last week. Adam and I spent an evening framing and hanging, and the result is really awesome! I don't have my camera at home, so I took a photo on my phone. This will have to suffice until I can get some good photos. Maybe this will inspire you all to do BIG arrangements of your photos that we take!

Final Friday!

Our February Adventure

Our version of If You Give a Mouse a Cookie: It all started just to get back at Lindsey's mom and sister for going to get donuts without her. She got jealous and so we planned a trip to the Donut Whole. We kept working and lost track of time, and all of a sudden, it was lunch time. So we changed plans. We would go get lunch, then go get donuts. Well, I'd bought frames for pictures for my living room last night, so then I wanted to take my camera so we could stop at some urbany places along the way so I could take more photos for my collection. Due to all of this, we ended up having a camera while we ate lunch at Hana Cafe.





So after Hana Cafe, we went and took some pictures of grungy looking places. The funny story about that part of the adventure is Lindsey and her crazy Mini Cooper. Every time I got out of the car to take a photo, she would move the car around, completely unnecessarily. Finally after her doing this like 5 times, she told me she was putting the passenger door as close to me as she could to make it easier for me to get back in. Anyway. Here are some of my photos from today!








Then we finally made it to the Donut Whole. I got chocolate crunch and pumpkin spice and OH MY GOSH they were amazing. Go there today.

Things Lindsey Says...

Talking to my dog:
"You're the only Doberman I know, you short haired beef patty."

Then he started his high pitched, incessant whining:
"Axl, come on, you're giving me a hernia."
"I will eat your babies."
"Axl, I will PUNISH you...with pleasure."

Adam and Gina Got Married!

...a long time ago. I've been working with my wedding pictures, so I decided to post one of our favorites on here. Taken by Greg Patterson.


Our wedding day was perfect, and it was a long time coming. We'd been dating for 4 1/2 years and had been engaged for almost a year and a half. We were so ready to spend the rest of our lives together! So on June 3, 2006, we were married. We had a super casual wedding since we're such laid back people. Adam and the groomsmen wore shirts and ties with flip flops. Adam surprised me and SANG to me during our ceremony. Oh my gosh, talk about surreal. I've never heard him sing before or since. :) He sang Nothing Fancy, by Dave Barnes. You should check it out. After the amazing wedding, we went to Maui, Hawaii for our honeymoon and had the time of our lives. We're planning on going back next year.

So there's a little run down of my wedding day. I know you were all so curious. :) I love you Adam and I'm so happy to be married to you!
