Earlier today I photographed Lindsey and Trent's wedding downtown near the river. I hadn't met these two before, but I love their style. Everyone wore Converse shoes, and the reception area was decorated very whimsically. Despite the heat of the day, everyone was very excited about the wedding and the couple. Here are some of my favorites from today.
This weekend I made the drive to KC to visit my bff Rachael and to take her engagement photos. She and Matt have been dating since high school, so they're proof (along with Adam and I) that high school relationships can work out! :) It was so fun to take photos of a couple I know so well, and I wasn't afraid to ask them to do crazy stuff. We spent several hours going to different places around KC, then they treated me to Olive Garden. Mmmm. I'm the maid of honor in their wedding in September, and I just can't wait for the big day. These two have waited so long and are so in love, their wedding is going to be amazing.
Hi! Just wanted to let you all know that I will be out of the office/out of town for a few days. I'm going to Kansas City to take some engagement pictures and hang out with friends. A much needed mini-vacation. Anyway, I'll still be checking and responding to emails while I'm out, but voicemails will have to wait til Monday to be returned. Have a great weekend!
Last night, Danny, Aeneva, and I braved the gale force wind to have their engagement session. They traveled all the way from KC, so I wasn't about to cancel if they were still up for it! Danny has known my hubby, Adam since they were kids, so we go way back with this couple. I believe they've actually been dating longer than Adam and I, so it's about time for this wedding to happen! They're getting married here in Wichita in July and I can't wait! Here are some favorites from their e-session.
This evening I took Tyler's 18 month photos at a park. You might recognize this family from photos on my website. We had a fun time playing on the playground equipment, and Tyler's mom and dad both went down the slide with him. When they pulled out his golf clubs and lawn mower, Tyler couldn't decide which he wanted to play with, so he just held all his clubs and the mower at the same time, it was pretty funny. Here are some of my favorites.
